Stretch marks are very common — estimates suggest up to 90 percent of people have them. They commonly appear during or after pregnancy, or after other sudden or rapid changes in your weight. For example, rapidly growing adolescents might notice some stretch marks. These marks can appear just about anywhere, but they’re most common on your: stomach, breasts, upper arms, thighs, buttocks. A Microneedling is used to create microscopic injuries in the stretch marks and the body responds by producing new collagen at the wound sites. This natural reaction by the body heals the tears in the dermis responsible for the stretch marks. As the outer layer of the skin is not affected by micro needling, the new collagen generated is used only to help heal the stretch marks. During the process we use a topical specific serum for stretch marks that contain Hyaluronic acid, Elastonyl. Glyco repair, and Regestryl. Stretch marks require a series of microneedling sessions, usually at 4-6 week intervals. This is a treatment that can help improve their appearance. Just keep in mind that no treatment can make stretch marks disappear completely.
